Here's what to do, step by step:

# See upcoming event dates and sign up to help out  

# Bring something to take pictures with, and something you can use to upload them (smartphone/ camera & laptop/ scanner & laptop etc).

# During the event/s, Photograph/scan/write down the contributions brought in by members of the public, and take down their details using the paper forms provided.

Here's what to do, step by step:

# Decide how long you'd like to commit for, and how often you'd like to check the wiki/emails, so that it feels manageable & rewarding. (Perhaps work to a personal goal of the number of contributions you'd like to process, for a sense of achievement when you reach it.)

# Check the archive@ email account for content which has been emailed in by members of the public. You may need to reply & chase up essential details before the content is useable (image date, copyright holder's name & copyright license, and address of the photo if not obvious from the image).
