Kelly's Directory 1960 to 1976 No 107 Crystal Snack Bar(Mrs G Harrison), also in Thomsons Directory 1988 , and in 1995 as the Crystal Fish Bar. See No 266 This was a classic fish and chip shop (apparently known as "Dirty Gertie's"<ref>Annie Skinner, Cowley Road A History p.131</ref>). Particularly popular for its Streetfighter 2 arcade machine. Queues of folks would build up to challenge each other with a winner stays on policy!
